OMG official: Former WE jungler beishang officially joins

OMG e-sports club released an announcement, announcing that former WE jungler Jiang Zhipeng (ID: beishang) has officially joined the team. It is expected that he will replace Yang Cuiheng (ID: Heng) as the starting player and join the team in the 2025 LPL second stage group match.

The 24-year-old beishang started his professional career in MSC in April 2018 and joined WE as a free agent in December of the same year. During his time with WE, beishang won the 2020 Demacia Cup runner-up and the 2021 LPL Summer Season third place with the team, and was also selected into the third best lineup of the 2021 Spring Season regular season.

In June 2023, beishang transferred to iG as a free agent. Because of the loss of three games, he was terminated only 8 days after joining iG.

OMG lost all three games in the second stage of the 2025 LPL group stage and is currently ranked fifth in the Nirvana group. The club has high hopes for beishang's arrival and hopes that he can help the team get out of the trough.

The announcement reads: "Beishang debuted in 2018. He has a smart jungler mindset and an aggressive style of play. He was selected as the third best jungler in the 2021 Spring Regular Season. After this period of time away from the game, I believe that beishang has become more mature, able to see through the situation and lead the team. Returning to this long-lost battlefield, I hope beishang can work with us to forge ahead!
