Official: HEROIC sniper gr1ks joins GUN5 on loan, having been outplayed for a month

Swedish CS2 professional team HEROIC announced on Wednesday that player Gleb Gazin (ID: gr1ks) has left the team on loan. He will join the Russian-based GUN5 team, replacing Ivan Lukin (ID: fineshine52) for the upcoming CCT Season 3.

gr1ks, 19, is from Belarus and played as a sniper for teams like Aurora and Astrum in his early career. He performed well during his time with Astrum, achieving an average rating of 1.17.

In June 2025, gr1ks transferred from Astrum to HEROIC. However, after playing 17 maps for HEROIC, he was relegated to the bench. During this time, he participated in 361 rounds, with average damage and kill value of 70.8 and 1.05 respectively, and an average personal rating of only 0.96. At the time, HEROIC management stated, "We must admit that the roster we assembled did not achieve the results we originally expected."

gr1k's joining GUN5 also marks his first return to the game after nearly a month on the bench. With the arrival of gr1ks, GUN5's current lineup is as follows:
