PUBG officially launches EMEA and Americas team selection process as PNC 2025 begins

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) released an announcement on Friday, announcing the launch of the team selection process for the 2025 PUBG National Cup (hereinafter referred to as PNC 2025) EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Americas regions.

PNC 2025, one of the top international PUBG events of the year, will be held at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul, South Korea in late July. The number of participating teams has also been expanded from 16 to 24, setting a new record.

According to the official announcement, there are 14 teams in this round of selection. There are four teams in the Americas, from Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the United States. The EMEA region consists of nine teams, including Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Australia will also participate in the selection, but its selection mechanism is different from that of other countries.

Each representative team consists of 4 players and 1 coach from their own country. In terms of player selection, PUBG's developer KRAFTON will select the three best players from each country based on the results of designated events in each region: the EMEA region will be based on the results of the PEC 2024 Fall and PEC 2025 Spring, and the Americas region will be based on the results of PAS 4 and PAS 5. The three selected players will jointly negotiate to decide on the fourth player and coach, but each representative team can only have a maximum of two players from the same team or club (exceptions may be granted in special circumstances). The coach selection is not subject to the above restrictions.

As for the Australian team, the selection will refer to the players' overall performance in PAS 4, PAS 5, PGS 2024 Asia Pacific Qualifier Finals and PGS 2025 Asia Pacific Qualifier Finals.
