HEROIC announced on Tuesday through its official X (Twitter) account that the team's AWP-er SunPayus and coach sAw will move to G2 Esport after the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
According to HEROIC's official statement, the club originally hoped to announce the transfer after the tournament. Unexpectedly, BLAST and Valve founder Gabe Newell has already spoiled it in advance.
Despite this, the club is very grateful for the two's contribution to HEROIC, and will hold a farewell ceremony for the two after the BLAST.tv Austin Major to celebrate their contributions. At the same time, the club is also actively looking for a new AWP-er and coach.
About SunPayus
SunPayus, 26, was born in Spain on November 19, 1998. He has been a professional Counter Strike e-sports player of since 2018, mainly playing as a AWP-er.
SunPayus played for Tenerife Titans and KPI Gaming in his early years, and joined Movistar Riders in August 2021.
During this spell, he won the 2022 ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia with the team and reached the top four in the the Intel Extreme Masters XVII Cologne.
One year later, SunPayus moved to ENCE.

About sAw
sAw, 32, was born in Finland on July 30, 1992. He was active in the Counter Strike professional esports circle as a player from 2013 to 2019.
As one of Finland's top players, sAw won 7 B-tier tournaments while playing for HAVU Gaming.
After retiring in November 2020, sAw served as the coach of ENCE, during which he won runner-up in several S-level events with the team.
In December 2023, sAw moved to HEROIC.
As the coach of HEROIC, sAw not only won the aforementioned MESA Nomadic Masters Tournament and CCT Global Finals Season 2, but also reached the finals of the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 with the team, but lost to The Mongolz 1:3 and could only finish second.
