Saudi Arabian CS2 professional team Falcons issued a statement on Tuesday, announcing that Emil Leo (ID: Magisk) would be relegated to the bench.
Magisk, 27, is one of the most influential riflers in Denmark. He has played for many CS teams including SK, North, OpTic, Astralis (AST), Vitality (VIT), etc. He spent the most glorious three years of his career in AST, during which time he helped the team win the 2018 FACEIT London Major, the 2019 IEM Katowice and the 2019 STARLADDER Berlin Major.
In December 2023, Magisk officially joined the Falcons team coached by Danny Sorensen (ID: zonic). To date, he has played 273 maps, participated in 6015 rounds, and obtained 3759 kills in Falcons, with an average personal rating of 1.00, and won the 2025 PGL Bucharest Station Championship with the team.
In response to the Falcons' decision, Magisk said on social media: "It's time to start a new chapter. With the end of the Austin Major, I was officially relegated to the Falcons bench."
"Now, it's time to look forward to the next stage of my career. I'm still hungry and motivated, and I can't wait to continue my journey on the highest stage of CS and show everyone what I'm really capable of."
“Thanks to all my teammates and the Falcons. Even though things didn’t go as planned, it was still a valuable learning experience for me!”
Kyousuke officially joins Falcons
Various signs indicate that Magisk's starting position will be replaced by Russian rifler Maxim Lukin (ID: kyousuke). Kyousuke, who is only 17 years old, officially joined the Falcons on the same day that Magisk was demoted, with a transfer fee of about $2 million.
Kyousuk previously played for the Spirit Academy Team. So far, he has played 260 maps, participated in 5,644 rounds, and obtained 4,865 kills, with an average personal rating of 1.29. Under his leadership, the Spirit Academy Team won two consecutive CCT championships and the BB LanDaLan championship, and ranked 28th on the VRS list.
