Team Falcons officially signs kyousuke and removes Magisk

Team Falcons announced that they have officially signed the 17-year-old Russian "Counter-Strike 2" supernova Kyousuke, and the original main player Magisk will retreat to the bench.

Dubbed the “next Donk,” Kyousuke officially joins Team Falcons from Team Spirit Academy as the team’s new rifler.

Kyousuke started his professional career in March 2024, when he was only 16 years old. He performed extremely well in Team Spirit Academy, with an average score of 1.29, helping the team to achieve great results in the second-tier division of Counter-Strike 2 and becoming a rising star that attracted much attention.

It is said that the transfer fee is as high as 2 million US dollars. Although the chairman of Team Falcons did not disclose the specific amount, he also admitted that the price is indeed not low. Kyousuke's strength and potential are reminiscent of Team Spirit's star player Donk.

Donk reached his peak right after his debut in 2024, winning the HLTV Best Newcomer and Best Player awards, and led his team to win four championships, including the Shanghai Major. The outside world is generally optimistic that Kyousuke will also grow rapidly in Team Falcons and dance with superstars such as NiKo and m0NESY, opening his own legendary chapter.

The signing comes as Team Falcons makes major adjustments following their loss at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Despite being considered a favorite to win the title, they suffered consecutive losses in the second stage and were eliminated by MIBR in the fourth round.

Team Falcons' first tournament with the new roster is expected to be FISSURE Playground #1 in Serbia from July 15 to 20, followed by IEM Cologne and the eSports World Cup Counter-Strike 2.
