VP official: FL4MUS was relegated to the bench, Perfecto entered the starting lineup

CS2 professional team Virtus.pro (VP) released a statement on Wednesday, announcing that Russian player Timur Malev (ID: FL4MUS) would be relegated to the bench.
The 20-year-old FL4MUS mainly plays as a rifleman. During his career, he has played for many CS teams including Worst Enemy, Spirit Academy, PARTIZAN, Fade, Maybe, RCL, 163ON, INVSN, POLET, Nemiga, GamerLegion, etc. Since joining VP in December 2024, he has played in 83 maps, participated in 1834 rounds, obtained 1115 kills, maintained a 59.5% headshot rate, and his personal average rating is 0.94.
Regarding the decision to demote FL4MUS, VP CEO Nikolay Petrosyan explained: "Timur is a talented player and a very good teammate. Unfortunately, the current situation does not allow us to achieve our goals. Despite this, I still believe that Timur has the potential to shine on a higher stage. We thank him for his time and effort in the team, and are willing to negotiate with other teams regarding his transfer."
As for the successor of FL4MUS, VP has made a clear arrangement. They decided to introduce former Cloud9 (C9) player Ilya Zalutsky (ID: Perfecto) to play together with Denis Sharipov (ID: electroNic) again after NAVI and C9.
Perfecto, 25, is a Russian like FL4MUS. He has previously played for Atlants, Syman, Natus Vincere (NAVI) and C9. He spent the most glorious three years of his career with NAVI, during which he won the 2020 IEM Katovitz Championship, the 2020 BLAST World Finals Championship, the 2021 DreamHack Spring Masters Championship, the 2021 StarLadder CIS RMR Championship, the 2021 IEM Cologne Championship, the 2021 ESL Season 14 Championship, the 2021 ESL Grand Slam Season 3 Championship, the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major Championship, the 2021 BLAST Fall Finals Championship, the 2021 BLAST World Finals Championship and the 2022 BLAST Spring Finals Championship.
