European CS2 professional team FaZe officially announced on Wednesday that Hervés Szakanc (ID: broky) has returned to the starting lineup after two months.
“Recharged, refreshed, and ready better than ever,” FaZe said succinctly on social media. Broky added in an accompanying video: “I’m back.
”
The 24-year-old broky is from Latvia and plays as an AWP sniper. He played for Epsilon at the beginning of his career and officially joined FaZe in September 2019.
To date, Broky has played 994 maps and 25,417 rounds in FaZe, with an average damage value of 73.0, a KD value of 1.17, and an average personal rating of 1.11. He has also won many championship titles with the team, including the 2019 BLAST Copenhagen Championship, the 2020 IEM New York European Championship, the 2022 IEM Katowice Championship, the ESL Professional League S15 Championship, the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major Championship, the 2022 IEM Cologne Championship, the ESL Professional League S17 Championship, the 2023 IEM Sydney Championship, the 2023 Thunderpick World Championship, the 2023 Hero AFC Champions League ACL Championship and the 2024 IEM Chengdu Championship.
In May this year, broky was relegated to the bench by FaZe due to lineup adjustments, and his position was replaced by the loaned NAVI sniper Alexander Kostryev (ID: s1mple). Now that he has returned to the starting lineup, it means that s1mple will leave FaZe soon.
With the return of broky, FaZe's current lineup is as follows:
Rifleman: Haval Nygaard (ID: rain)
Commander/Rifleman: Finn Anderson (ID: karrigan)
Rifleman: David Chernansky (ID: frozen)
Rifleman: Jonathan Jablonowski (ID: EliGE)
Sniper: Helvius Szakanz (ID: broky)
Coach: Philip Kubski (ID: NEO)
