G2 officially announced that it has demoted the commander Snax to the bench

CS2 professional team G2 officially announced on Friday that Polish player Janusz Pogorzelski (ID: Snax) will be demoted to the bench.

Snax, 31, is a leader and rifleman who has played for GF-Gaming, Universal Soldiers, AGAiN, VP, MOUZ, Illuminar, Anonymo, MONKE, Let Us Cook, Pompa and other CS teams. He spent the most glorious four years of his career with VP, during which time he won many championships including the 2014 ESL Katovitz, 2014 Gfinity G3, 2015 ESEA Season 18 Global Finals, 2015 CEVO Season 7, 2015 CEVO Season 8, 2015 FACEIT League Stage 3, 2016 SL i-League Invitational, 2016 ELEAGUE Season 1, 2016 DreamHack Bucharest Open and 2017 DreamHack Las Vegas Masters.

In July 2024, Snax officially joined G2 and served as the commander. In the first half of his joining G2, he won the BLAST Fall Finals and the World Finals with the team. However, his status declined rapidly after rifler Nikolai Kovac (ID: NiKo) and sniper Ilya Osipov (ID: m0NESY) switched to Falcons.

According to statistics, Snax has played in 175 maps and participated in 3774 rounds in G2, harvested 1948 kills, with a headshot rate of only 48.9% and a personal average score of 0.88.

After Snax was relegated to the bench, his teammate Nemanja Kovac (ID: huNter-) will take over his command. G2 also plans to introduce a rifler in the offseason, and has been rumored to be with xKacpersky and Matush Shimko (ID: MATYS).
