Xtreme Gaming temporarily replaces xNova- the substitute player

Chinese Dota 2 powerhouse Xtreme Gaming made lineup adjustments on the eve of The International 2025, announcing that former No. 5 player Poloson would temporarily rest due to health issues and would be temporarily replaced by Malaysian veteran xNova-.

Xtreme Gaming said in an official statement that Poloson is unable to carry out high-intensity training and competition due to tendinitis and will take a full rest in the short term. As a substitute, xNova will join the team to compete in Clavision Masters 2025 and reunite with former LGD player Ame.

xNova is an experienced world-class support player who has achieved top three results in many international competitions with LGD and won the Major event. He is currently on the inactive list of Azure Ray. This time, he will join Xtreme Gaming and bring a stable team rhythm and valuable experience to the team.

The roster changes come after Xtreme Gaming underperformed at the Esports World Cup 2025, where the team finished 9th–12th and failed to live up to fan expectations.

As TI 2025 will officially start on September 4, it remains unknown whether Poloson can return in time, and whether xNova will continue to compete in TI is also attracting much attention.

Xtreme Gaming will compete against world-class teams such as Tundra, Gaimin Gladiators, and BetBoom at the Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi, a $700,000 tournament that will be held at the Bio Indoor Stadium in Zhangjiakou, China.

Xtreme Gaming's lineup for this competition is:

·Ame

·Xm

·Xxs

XinQ

·xNova-
