Southampton announced on its official website on Tuesday that Rennes' Denmark international attacking midfielder Albert Grønbæk has joined the club on-loan.
According to the Premier League club's official statement, Grønbæk will play for the club on-loan until the end of this season, and the loan agreement does not contain a buyout clause.

About Albert Grønbæk
Albert Grønbæk, who is only 23 years old, was born on May 23, 2001 in Risskov, Denmark. He is 1.76 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder. He can also play as a left winger.
Grønbæk joined the youth academy of his hometown club Vejlby-Risskov since he was a child. In 2015, he moved to the Aarhus youth academy and completed his Aarhus first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in July 2020.
In August 2022, Grønbæk joined Bodø/Glimt for €2.5 million.
During his two-year spell at Bodø/Glimt, Grønbæk won the Norwegian Eliteserien twice with the club.
In July 2024, Grønbæk joined Rennes for €15 million.
