Norwegian esports powerhouse HEROIC announced on Tuesday via its official X (Twitter) account that tN1R's ownership have been bought out, and rifler xfl0ud will return to the main roster of its Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team.
According to HEROIC's official statement, tN1R will officially leave the team after participating in the 2025 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia which will be held from August 20th to 24th. His position will then be filled by xfl0ud, who returns from being benched.
HEROIC did not specify which team purchased tN1R's ownership in its official statement, but according to foreign media outlet Esports Insider, the player is expected to join SECRET.
This is the sixth roster change HEROIC has made since June of this year.
HEROIC's performance has been sluggish since the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
Amidst this turbulent roster shakeup, sAw and SunPayus moved to G2, and former Aurora AWP-er gr1ks was benched less than two months after joining.
HEROIC will face Intel Extreme Masters Cologne champions Spirit in the 2025 Esports World Cup opener. tN1R will undoubtedly do his best to ensure he ends his time with them on a high note.
