DOTA 2: Yakult's Brothers (YB) to replace Gaimin Gladiators (GG) at The International (TI)..

PGL announced Wednesday via its official Twitter account that Chinese team Yakult's Brothers (YB) will replace Canadian team Gaimin Gladiators (GG) at DOTA 2's annual grand event The International (TI).

According to Gaimin Gladiators (GG)' official statement, the team was forced to withdraw due to its roster members' desire to compete independently without a team banner, and the team's inability to maintain a stable roster for the duration of the event.

Despite rumors circulating online that OG was likely to replace GG, PGL ultimately chose YB.

PLG also announced that Yakult's Brothers (YB) will be renamed Yakutou Brothers.

The International (TI) will be held in Hamburg, Germany on September 4, 2025. The knockout stage will be held at the Barclays Arena from September 11th to 14th.

The tournament will be played in a Best-of-3 format, with the Grand Finals in a Best-of-5 format. Sixteen teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1.6 million.
