Arne Slaughter reveals Curtis Jones will not play against Ipswich Town

Liverpool manager Arne Slaughter has confirmed Curtis Jones will miss their Premier League clash with Ipswich Town due to injury.

Curtis Jones was substituted off during the team's 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League. This was because he was injured in the first half and was unable to continue until the end of the game.

Following an assessment, manager Arne Slaughter said Curtis Jones would not be involved in the upcoming match against Ipswich.

“Curtis Jones went off at halftime, so it wasn’t a good sign,” Arne Sloter said in a press conference before the game.

"The rest we have to wait and see how long it takes. I don't expect it to be months, but let's see if Curtis Jones can play against PSV or Bournemouth."
