According to Counter-Strike tipster Vladislav Gromov on Tuesday, FaZe rifler Jonathan Jablonski (ID: EliGE) is expected to return to Team Liquid.
EliGE, 28, previously played for various Counter-Strike teams, including JusTus, SKDC, eLevate, Liquid, and COL, before officially joining FaZe in early January. To date, he has played 113 maps and 2,489 rounds for FaZe, racking up 1,803 kills with a 54.5% headshot rate and an average rating of 1.11.
Despite EliGE's consistent individual performance, his style of play didn't mesh with FaZe's original style. Since joining the team, FaZe's best results have been a third-place finish in PGL Bucharest and a quarterfinal appearance at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
In an effort to reverse the team's decline, FaZe benched EliGE in late August and simultaneously called upon 21-year-old former Betclic player Jakub Pietruszewski (ID: jcobbb), considered one of the rising stars in Polish esports.
For EliGE, his eight years with Liquid were undoubtedly the pinnacle of his career. During this time, EliGE played 1,744 maps, participated in 45,874 rounds, and achieved 34,431 kills. He also helped the team win numerous championships, including the CS:GO Summit Season 2, the 2018 CS:GO Supernova Malta, the 2019 iBUYPOWER Masters, the 2019 IEM Sydney, the 2019 DH Masters Dallas, the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, the 2019 ESL One Cologne, the ESL Grand Slam Season 2, the 2019 BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles, the 2019 IEM Chicago, and the ESL Pro League Season 11 North America.
