Representing the team to compete abroad is such a rare opportunity that must not be missed. You must be well prepared, intensify your training, adjust your mindset, and take care of your body. Sometimes fate plays tricks on you and always makes mistakes in places you can't imagine, resulting in wasted thoughts and energy, which can be a major loss for the player or the team.
When it comes to traveling to compete abroad, besides booking hotels and airfare, itinerary planning is crucial. Planes wait for no one, so the question becomes whether you can even get on a cross-border flight. Recently, Virtus.Pro revealed that three players failed to pass Swedish border control, were denied visas, and were forced to withdraw from the tournament. This was a surprising and unpredictable outcome, and even with backups, it would have been difficult to resolve. With insufficient numbers, making do wouldn't necessarily guarantee a smooth transition. After careful consideration, the team ultimately had only one option: withdraw from the EPL Season 22 competition. This is truly a regrettable situation.
An explanation must be given to both fans and sponsors. An official announcement later stated that the visa revocation was due to incomplete medical insurance documents, which had already been approved by Schengen border officials. This was originally a crucial step in qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major, but who could have imagined that the biggest obstacle would be border control officers. Upon learning of the issue, they immediately arranged a new performance, but they still rejected the application and revoked the visa.
Virtus.Pro's absence was replaced by ENCE, chosen by the organizers, but in order to catch up with this event, the team may withdraw from the ongoing Birch event.
