The new king of the jungle in season 41 is here: Kai surpasses Han Xin and Monkey King

On October 2nd, with the start of Season 41, the jungle landscape saw a new shift. This season's "jungle overlord" officially debuted: the recently buffed warrior hero Kai. His burst damage is even higher than that of the veteran assassin Sun Wukong, and he can even ignore the highly mobile Han Xin, making him a nightmare for squishy heroes.

Han Xin has been a popular pick in high-level games since his release. With three-stage movement, control, and invincibility, he possesses exceptional flexibility and damage output in the jungle. With his equipment, Han Xin can easily take down squishy enemies, but he seems powerless against Kai.

Sun Wukong, a perennial jungler, relies on his inherent crit and displacement abilities to instantly kill squishy enemies after level 4. The invincibility granted by his first skill, in particular, allows him to maneuver effortlessly in teamfights. However, Kai's win rate has significantly increased this season, with his explosive power approaching or even surpassing that of Monkey King.

Kai's strong performance in Season 41 is mainly due to the planning enhancements, which have greatly increased his appearance rate in the jungle. Although positioned as a warrior, Kai in the jungle position often uses semi-tank armor, ensuring survival while still being able to deal high damage.
