Foreign media outlet Sheep Esports exclusively broke the news on Monday that Karmine Corp (KC) is likely to part ways with its League of Legends team mid laner, Vladi.
According to the report, Karmine Corp (KC) has decided to accept all potential offers from other clubs seeking to sign Vladi, and will not even block his transfer negotiations with other clubs.
It is reported that several LEC clubs have expressed interest in signing Vladi, but the exact details of their interest remain to be determined. Reporters are also unaware of the progress of negotiations between Vladi and KC.
However, since Vladi's contract with KC does not expire until 2027, any club interested in signing him before then would still have to pay KC a transfer fee.
It is worth noting that KC's possible parting ways with Vladi may be largely related to the player's misspoken comments.
After this year's Spring Split, Vladi, during a Twitch stream, suddenly blurted out complaints about the lack of enthusiasm and support from KC fans, calling them the worst fanbase he'd ever seen.
Although he later apologized, Vladi's relationship with KC has deteriorated since then.
About Vladi
Vladi, who is only 20 years old, was born in Greece on August 12, 2005. He became a professional League of Legends esports player in 2021, playing mid lane.
Vladi previously played for Hive Athens, Refuse, WLGaming, and Riddle before joining Nativz in 2023.
While with Nativz, Vladi helped the team win the NLC Summer 2023 and was selected to the tournament's All-Pro Second Team.
Last January, Vladi joined KC's Academy team, the KC Blue.
During his time there, he helped the team win the LFL Spring and was selected to the tournament's All-Pro First Team.
In May of this year, Vladi was promoted to the KC main team.
Since joining the team, Vladi has helped the team win the LEC Winter and was named MVP.
He also the helped the team reach the First Stand finals.
However, KC ultimately lost 1-3 to LCK powerhouse Hanhwa Life Esport (HLE), finishing second.
