League of Legends: Former Gen.G mid-laner Quid reportedly close to joining Team Liquid..

Sheep Esports exclusively reported on Friday that former Gen.G mid-laner Quid is close to joining Team Liquid after his current club, 100 Thieves, disbanded.

According to the report, despite receiving multiple offers, Quid decided to remain in the LCS and considered Liquid's offer the most attractive.

It is understood that Quid's main reason for wanting to join Liquid is his desire to team up with his compatriot, 2017 World Champion and four-time LCS champion CoreJJ.

Quid has already rejected an offer from Shopify Rebellion.

Additionally, Karmine Corp (KC) also attempted to publicly invite Quid via X (Twitter).

However, he ultimately remained unmoved by the LEC team's offer.

About Quid

Quid, who is still only 21 years old, was born on April 27, 2004, in South Korea. He began playing professional League of Legends esports as a mid-laner in 2020.

Quid's professional career began with Gen.G's academy team, where he won the LCK Academy Series in August 2021.

The following year, he was promoted to Gen.G's main team and participated in the LCK Spring, but finished as runner-up against powerhouse T1.

In May 2023, Quid joined 100 Thieves.

During his two-and-a-half-year spell with 100 Thieves, Quid participated in the LCS, LTA Interregional Championship, and LTA Championship, achieving three top-three finishes and being selected as the 2024 LCS Spring MVP.

This October, Quid participated in the 2025 League of Legends World Championship with his team, but due to poor performances, they were eliminated in the group stage, and the team recently announced its disbandment.
