100T released a statement confirming that former FaZe rifleman rain has officially joined the team.

100 Thieves (100T) announced on Thursday the signing of Norwegian rifler Havar Nigard (ID: rain). The 31-year-old rain becomes 100T's first signing since their return to the CS scene, but other team members have yet to be determined.

This move to 100T marks rain's return to the team after nine years. Since January 2016, he has played 1,864 maps and participated in 47,890 rounds for FaZe, achieving a headshot rate of 56.8% and an average rating of 1.01.

During this period, rain also helped FaZe win 20 championship titles, including the SL-i Season 3 Grand Finals, the 2017 ESL ONE New York Championship, the 2017 ELEAGUE Super League Championship, the ECS Season 4 Grand Finals, the 2018 IEM Sydney Championship, the 2018 ESL ONE Belo Horizonte Championship, the 2018 Moscow Epicenter Championship, the 2022 IEM Katowice Championship, the ESL Pro League Season 15 Championship, the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major Championship, the 2022 IEM Cologne Championship, the ESL Pro League Season 17 Championship, the 2023 IEM Sydney Championship, the 2023 Thunderpick World Championship, the 2023 Heroes Asia Championship (ACL) Championship, and the 2024 IEM Chengdu Championship.

However, FaZe went on an 18-month title drought after winning IEM Chengdu in 2024. As a result, rain was relegated to the bench by FaZe in September of this year, and Canadian player Russell Vandulken (ID: Twistzz) took his place in the starting lineup.

Before joining FaZe, rain played for several CS teams, including partyastronauts, London Conspiracy, clutchIT.org, LGB, Kinguin, and G2. According to HLTV statistics, he has played a total of 2,178 maps and participated in 56,143 rounds, with a headshot rate of 56.5% and an average rating of 1.01.
