ESC Official Announcement: Effective immediately, we are parting ways with our CS2 teams.

German esports club ESC officially announced on Saturday that it has terminated the existing contract of its CS2 team. The Polish roster is currently ranked 42nd globally and has been acquired by an undisclosed club.

ESC acquired Los Kogutos' CS2 team a year ago. They have won several online tournaments in the past six months, including the CCT Season 3 European Series 6 Closed Qualifier, Winline Insight Season 7 and 8, and most recently, the ESL Challengers League Season 50 Europe Season 3.

Regarding his departure, former ESC captain Patrick Wozniak (ID: olimp) explained to HLTV: "My experience at ESC was fantastic. After a year with Rebels, they contacted me and invited me to join IGL, which I gladly accepted. The team itself was great, and the atmosphere was excellent. The only problem was that ESC couldn't provide the offline tournaments we needed most."

"Then a club offered to acquire us, and the timing couldn't be more perfect. We were very happy about this because we finally had the opportunity to participate in offline events. ESC simply couldn't afford the related expenses."

"The acquiring party is financially strong and can meet our needs. We can finally participate in offline competitions, and people will no longer comment that we are just an online team."

Olimp concluded by saying, “We sincerely thank ESC for its past efforts and support. Moreover, ESC’s two CEOs are also outstanding and always willing to assist us. I will forever cherish this time and the wonderful memories of participating in the closed training camp with them.”

Before the acquisition is completed, the original ESC team will continue to compete under the name "FriendlyCampers". Their next tournaments are the ESL Challenger League Season 50 European Finals and DraculaN 3 Bucharest. The roster is as follows:
