American Counter Strike 2 esports club Wildcard shockingly announced via their official X (Twitter) account that they are parting ways with their entire roster, effective immediately on Saturday.
According to Wildcard's official statement, stanislaw, JBa, and phzy have all been placed on the transfer list, while Peeping has been benched.
F1KU will also leave the team after his contract expires at the end of November.
The club expressed its gratitude to fans for their unwavering support over the years and pledged to rebuild a new team from scratch.
It's worth noting that Wildcard has experienced several turbulent times prior to this announcement.
This summer, Wildcard removed phzy and stanislaw from the starting roster but soon reinstated them.
During the offseason, they also terminated contracts of fr3nd and susp.
This core roster helped the team qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major and the BLAST Austin Major.
The team's dark horse performances in the former was once a celebrated achievement in the Counter Strike 2 esports scene.
However, in recent months, the relationship between the team and the players has gradually deteriorated.
Phzy even publicly criticized Wildcard after a falling out with the team.
Earlier this month, their coach VinS was also dismissed due to poor performances and has since joined Metizport.
