Liam Delap believes the players showed resilience and ultimately regained their rhythm in the game.

Liam Delap admitted that despite scoring his first Premier League goal against Chelsea, the team's away defeat to Fulham was disappointing. He stated that the entire team is very much looking forward to training with new manager Liam Rossenier.  

Chelsea started strong at Craven Cottage, but Mark Cucurella's red card made things more difficult for them. They trailed early in the second half but equalized while playing with 10 men. Liam Delap scored his first Premier League goal for Chelsea from a corner by Pedro Neto. However, Fulham scored again late in the game, preventing Chelsea from taking any points away from home.  

After the match, Liam Delap said, "Without a doubt, this result is hard to accept. But the whole team maintained a high level of unity and fought for a long time despite being limited in numbers. The players showed excellent spirit, belief and resilience, and finally managed to get back into the rhythm of the game."  

"The opponent's two goals came very suddenly. Although we tried to equalize, this kind of thing happens all the time in football, and we can only cheer up and keep going. I was not in good form at the beginning of the season and suffered some injuries, so it was difficult to quickly regain my match fitness. Now I am in good form and hope to maintain it until the end of the season."  

Chelsea's goal is to quickly forget last night's defeat and get back on track to victory. A new chapter is about to begin for the team, with the new manager officially leading training at the Cobham training ground.  

Liam Delap already knows new manager Liam Rossene. He worked with Rossene two years ago during a loan spell at Hull City. Delap stated that Chelsea are eager to begin their campaign under the new manager in the upcoming matches.  

He stated, "The players are excited about working with the new coach. Although Enzo has left, the team needs to work harder and understand Liam Rossellini's tactical philosophy under his leadership. I know him very well; he is a top coach, and I hope he can help the players grow. This is a great start."  

“I think he is a very promising young coach with a passion for football. I know he is eager to achieve something in his coaching career, so I hope he can integrate his philosophy into our style of play and do his best to help the team.”
