Top Esports (TES) announced on Sunday night that they have parted ways with jungler Xu Jinhe (ID: Kanavi). Kanavi subsequently transferred to South Korean club HLE, officially ending his six-year LPL career.
Kanavi, 25, is a South Korean professional League of Legends player who joined JDG Esports Club from Griffin in 2019. He played for JDG for five years, making a total of 564 appearances and winning the 2020 LPL Spring Split Championship, the 2022 LPL Summer Split Championship, the 2023 LPL Spring Split Championship, the 2023 MSI Championship, and the 2023 LPL Summer Split Championship with the team.
Kanavi has been playing for TES since December 2024. To date, he has made 183 appearances for TES and played a crucial role in the team's victory in the first stage of the 2025 LPL season. However, Kanavi's performance in the recently concluded S15 World Championship was lackluster, leading to TES's defeat to T1 in the semifinals.
Regarding Kanavi's departure, TES stated in an announcement: "After full and friendly communication between the club and the player, we hereby announce that Xu Jinhe (ID: Kanavi), the jungler of the League of Legends division of Top Esports Club, has become a free agent and has officially disconnected from the team effective immediately."

Kanavi also released a statement on social media, officially bidding farewell to his Chinese fans who have supported him for six years. The statement read: "Looking back, it's been six years since I came to China to compete in 2019."
From the time I started learning Chinese to making it to the World Championship, winning the league championship, and winning the MSI championship, I have gained a lot of valuable experience. My teammates, club, and fans have all been very good to me. Even when I didn't perform well, they always encouraged and supported me.
To this, I would like to sincerely say: Thank you.
Every year I want to live up to your expectations.
But the final result was never good, which disappointed you.
I am truly sorry, and I am very regretful.
However, the valuable experiences and wonderful memories here...
I will always cherish it in my heart.
Now I'm about to embark on a new challenge.
I hope to have the opportunity to see everyone again.
Thank you for your companionship over the past six years.
Wishing everyone continued health and success.
