AMKAL's poor performance has led to a stalemate in their CS2 lineup.

Esports team AMKAL has officially announced that its entire Counter-Strike 2 roster, including the coaching staff, will be moved to the bench.
This significant decision stems from the team's recent slump, managing only two wins in the last ten series, leading management to suspend the team until the end of the season to reassess its future direction. This move signifies a complete halt to current projects and a freeze on all members.
AMKAL's roster was rebuilt in August 2025, with core members including the highly anticipated nafany and KaiR0N-. Despite the roster's impressive strength on paper, the team has consistently struggled to achieve stable results since its inception, failing to make significant progress in either online tournaments or offline event qualification.
The team attempted to reverse their slump by adjusting their roster. In late September of this year, AMKAL replaced sstiNiX and iDISBALANCE, and brought in KENSI and Moon. The personnel changes initially proved effective, enabling the team to reach the finals and finish as runners-up in OMEN Retake Season 11.
However, this brief upward momentum failed to last, and the team subsequently fell into another losing streak. More crucially, AMKAL failed to make a breakthrough in the qualifiers of several important tournaments, including attempts to qualify for multiple CCT events, all of which ended in failure.
Management ultimately determined that the downward trend was unlikely to reverse in the short term, and therefore chose to put the entire roster on hold. With the entire squad relegated to the bench, AMKAL will temporarily withdraw from the competition for the remainder of the 2025 season. How the club will rebuild its roster and whether it will return to CS2 will be officially decided after the season ends.
