According to Sky Sports News, Aston Villa has loaned Marcus Rashford from Manchester United until the end of the season. Villa will bear at least 75% of Rashford's salary, up to 90%, depending on the performance of the player and the team.
Rashford said in an interview: "I want to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen. I have received invitations from many clubs, but Aston Villa is an easy decision-I really appreciate their performance this season and the ambition of the head coach."
"I just want to play football and I can't wait to get started. At the same time, I wish Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season."
Under Rashford's social media post, his former teammate and good friend Sancho commented: "He's back!"
It is reported that Villa pushed for this deal because the team had just sold John Duran to Saudi team Riyadh Victory.
