After being demoted for nearly half a year, NRG sniper oSee has been officially announced to return to the starting lineup.

NRG's CS2 team announced on Tuesday that it has officially recalled sniper Joshua Yan (ID: oSee), who had previously been relegated to the bench. After nearly six months of inactivity, oSee will replace Zekri Elshani (ID: XotiC) and return to the starting lineup, traveling with the team to the Fragadelphia tournament in Miami from January 2nd to 4th.

The 26-year-old oSee previously played for several CS teams, including Phoenix, Down To Frag, Etherian, Gorilla Gang, Singularity, ATK, Cloud9, Extra Salt, and Liquid, before joining NRG in November 2023. To date, he has played 361 maps and participated in 7426 rounds for NRG, with an average rating of 1.13.

oSee's return to the NRG starting lineup means he will reunite with his former teammate Alan Grosbeck (ID: Sonic) from Extra Salt and Cloud9. As for XotiC, who was replaced by oSee, he left the team due to the difficulty of balancing professional gaming and his personal career.

Following this adjustment, NRG's current roster is expected to be as follows:

Breakthroughist/Band: Nick Cannera (ID: nitr0)

Rifleman: George Endicott (ID: Jeorge)

Rifleman: Alexander Bro (ID: br0)

Free agent/sniper: Alan Grosbeek (ID: Sonic)

Sniper: Joshua Yan (ID: oSee)

Coach: Damian Steele (ID: daps)
