Guardiola: I hope everyone can become better.

Another key match in the 18th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will take place, with Manchester City traveling to Nottingham Forest. Manager Pep Guardiola stated in an interview that his team is on track in all competitions and hopes that every player in the team can improve.

After Haaland's brace and Reindes' goal, Manchester City secured a 3-0 victory over West Ham in the last round of the Premier League. With this fifth consecutive win, Manchester City currently sits in second place in the standings with 37 points, just two points behind leaders Arsenal.

Speaking about the league standings, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said, "The ideal position is of course at the top, but we haven't achieved that yet. I certainly hope to be 10 points ahead of everyone, but this is the reality. Arsenal are performing very well, but we are also closely following. It's still late December, after all. We are in a favorable position in the Champions League, competitive in the Premier League, have reached the League Cup semi-finals, and the FA Cup is about to begin. Some important players are returning, so we can only take it one step at a time."
