Tyler Harwood-Bellis stated that although the result was disappointing, the team must adjust their mindset and move forward.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis expressed his frustration after Southampton's narrow defeat to Oxford United. Southampton trailed in the first half, but a header from a centre-back leveled the score. However, their opponents scored in the final minute of regulation time to seal the victory.

After the match, Tyler Harwood-Bellis said: "Frankly, the result is not ideal. We can't afford to lose in games like this if we want to achieve our goals. I think we controlled the tempo of the game in the first half, but the opponent scored on their first shot, which may just have been a fluke."

“However, we regained control of the game, and we emphasized that we needed to maintain this level in the second half, but I don’t think we succeeded. When things are going against us, we have to perform better and find ways to turn things around. I think we’ve tried, but it takes time to completely change the situation.”

“We must regroup and start afresh. We have experience playing in this league before and know that the games during the Christmas period are crucial. That’s why this result is disappointing. We still have a chance if we can maintain our winning streak, but we cannot dwell on this defeat and must move on as soon as possible. We need to pull ourselves together, find a way, and win a tough game away from home.”

“I understand it’s a short trip for the fans, but we’re disappointed. We hope to win here and give them a wonderful Boxing Day. I believe they will come to Birmingham to cheer us on, and we really need their support. We will bounce back, and Taunta will give it his all to help us get back on track.”
