BLAST Slam II group stage ends with Tundra Esports and Gaimin Gladiators advancing to semifinals

The group stage of Dota 2 BLAST Slam II kicked off on February 4th. After a day of group matches, Tundra Esports and Gaimin Gladiators advanced to the semifinals as the top team respectively.

BLAST Slam II was held from February 4 to 9, with 10 teams competing for a total prize of $1 million. The event was fast-paced, with the group stage taking only one day. The participating teams were divided into Group A and Group B, with 5 teams each, competing in a round-robin format.

In Group A, Tundra Esports, who just won the 2025 FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade, continued their dominance and took first place in Group A with a record of 3-1.

Tundra Esports defeated Talon Esports and BLAST Slam I champion BetBoom Team. Tundra Esports then lost to TI champion Team Liquid and finally defeated Yakult Brothers to complete the group stage.

In Group B, Gaimin Gladiators leads the way with a 3-1 record, having defeated PARIVISION, Xtreme Gaming and Nigma Galaxy, with their only loss coming against Team Falcons.

Now that the BLAST Slam II group stage has concluded, the competition has entered the single-elimination knockout stage. The two teams at the bottom of the group stage will start in the first round, and the higher-ranked teams will wait for challengers in the subsequent rounds. All games in the knockout stage will adopt a best-of-three system, with only the finals being a best-of-five system.
