AIphonso Davies finally ends transfer saga by completing his contract extension with Bayern Munich..

Bayern Munich announced on its official website on Wednesday that the club has extended the contract of its Canada international left-wing back Alphonso Davies.
According to Bayern's official statement, Davies has signed on a new long-term five-and-a-half-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
After completing his contract extension procedures, Davies, who was interviewed by Bayern Munich's official website again, said: "I am very happy to renew my contract with this great club. I came to Bayern when I was 18 years old. I just want to learn as much as possible every day and become one of the best players in my position. Now I look forward to spending another five years together. I have achieved a lot here, but there will be more in the future."
With this contract extension, it also means that the transfer saga between Davies and Real Madrid, which has been aggressively rumoured for nearly two years, has finally come to an end.
About Alphonso Davies
The 24-year-old Davies was born on November 2, 2000 in a refugee camp in Buduburam, Ghana. His parents were both refugees from Liberia’s second civil war. He is 1.81 meters tall and primarily plays as a left-wing back, but he can also play as a left winger, he has three nationalities: Ghana, Liberia, and Canada.
Davies immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 5 years old and settled in Canada. At the age of 14, he joined the Vancouver Whitecaps youth academy.
In April 2016, he began to play for the Vancouver Whitecaps reserve team, breaking two records by becoming the youngest player in the history of the United States Soccer League (USL) and the youngest goalscorer.
In June of the same year, Davies made his first-team debut for the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Canadian Cup match. Since then, he has won praise from many media outlets around the world for his outstanding performances.
In January 2019, Davies join Bayern Munich for US$22 million.
Since becoming a member of Die Roten, so far, Davies has played 218 times for Bayern across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 33 assists. During which he has won the Bundesliga 5 times, the DFB-Pokal twice, the DFB-Super Cup thrice, the UEFA Champions League once, the UEFA Super Cup once and the FIFA Club World Club once with the club.
