Manchester United's Netherlands international left-wing back Tyrell Malacia joins PSV Eindhoven on-loan..


PSV Eindhoven announced on its official website on Wednesday that Manchester United's Netherlands international left-wing back Tyrell Malacia has joined the club on-loan.


According to PSV's official statement, Malacia will play for the club on-loan until the end of this season. The loan agreement includes a €10 million buyout clause, and Manchester United will also enjoy a 30% share of Malacia's sell-on clause. At the same time, Malacia will also wear the No. 3 jersey which was vacated after Netherlands international right-wing back Jordan Teze had transferred to Monaco.


After completing his joining procedures, Malacia, who was interviewed by the Eredivisie defending champions' official website for the first time, said: "I am very happy to be here. I can finally play good football again."

About Tyrell Malacia


The 25-year-old Tyrell Malacia was born on August 17, 1999 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is 1.7 meters tall and primarily plays as a left-wing back. He can also play as a left midfielder. He has the nationalities of the Netherlands, Curacao and Suriname.


Malacia joined Feyenoord's youth academy at the age of 9 and completed his Feyenoord first-team debut in a UEFA Champions League match in December 2017.


During his five-year spell at Feyenoord, Malacia won the KNVB Cup once, the Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch Super Cup) once, and reached the UEFA Europa Conference League final once. He is one of the players highlighted in the documentary Dat ene woord - Feyenoord which was produced by Disney+ Hotstar.


In July 2022, Malacia joined Manchester United for €15 million.


Since becoming a member of the Red Devils, Malacia has only played 47 times for the Premier League giants in all competitions due to injuries, without scoring any goals or making any assists
