Daniel Falk is proud of Leeds United's victory over Manchester United: We will not forget where we started.

Newly promoted Leeds United defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the 32nd round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, thanks to two goals from Okafor. Daniel Falk said after the match that he was proud of his team's victory over a strong opponent, and also stated that the team would not forget where they came from to get to this point.

Jaden Bogle's cross in the 5th minute was cleared, and Okafor volleyed home from inside the box to give Leeds United a dream start, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Okafor, positioned at the edge of the box, received a header from Brundon Allensen and unleashed a long-range shot that deflected off Joro and into the net, extending Leeds United's lead over Manchester United to 2-0.

In the 54th minute of the second half, Lisandro pulled Calvert-Lewin's hair while vying for possession, and the referee showed Lisandro a red card, leaving Manchester United with only 10 players to continue. In the 69th minute, Bruno Fernandes received the ball and chipped it into the box, where Casemiro headed it in, helping Manchester United pull one back to 2-1.

Leeds United ultimately defeated Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford. With these three points, Leeds United currently sit 15th in the league table with 36 points.
