Kylian Mbappé: I always want to play great games and I want to leave my mark at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe was named MVP of the second leg of Real Madrid's Champions League play-off clash with Manchester City after his outstanding performance. The striker scored a brilliant hat-trick in the match to lead his team to the last 16.

After the game, Kylian Mbappe said: "It was a great night for the team and we hope to win the game and advance to the round of 16. When we played against Manchester City, we knew it was a difficult game. Fortunately, we ended the game in the best way and brought joy to all Real Madrid fans."

"My dream since I was a kid was to play in a European competition with Real Madrid. This is a great day for me and the team. I just want to play great games here and leave my mark at Real Madrid. The time to adapt is over and I have to show my personality in the team. I have no limits, but the most important thing is to win titles for the team. Although I have scored goals in my career, I haven't won many titles."

"Since I was a kid I dreamed of playing in Europe's biggest competition with Real Madrid. We managed to reach the last 16 after a great tournament and we are very happy because we played as a team, had many chances to score and entertained all the Real Madrid fans with our attacking football."

Kylian Mbappe added: "It was definitely a great night, our opponent was very strong, they are one of the best teams in the world. It was a very important game and scoring three goals made this night particularly important. People used to tell me about these nights, until now I can see them with my own eyes, and I hope to experience more in the future."

"I have confidence in myself and it would be great if I could score 50 goals. But if I could score more, it would be even better. But for me, the most important thing is to be a Real Madrid player, not to win the Ballon d'Or."

"In addition, I would like to thank the Real Madrid fans for their love. I was loved by them before I joined Real Madrid. Now that I am a Real Madrid player, their love for me has become even stronger. Thank you fans for your continued support, I will continue to work hard."
