T1 Esports Club officially announced that former League of Legends professional player Bae Jun-sik (game ID: Bang) will return as a streamer starting today. His military service ended on February 25th, local time.
Bang, 27, is a legendary ADC player in the Korean League of Legends. His signature heroes are Kalista, Corki, Vayne, and Lucian. He debuted from NaJin White Shield in October 2012, and then played for XB, SKT (later renamed T1), 100T, EG, Afs and other teams.
Bang has a distinguished career and was a core member of SKT during its peak period. Since joining SKT in 2013, he has won many championships with teammates such as Faker, Bengi, and Marin, including the 2015 LCK Spring Championship, the 2015 LCK Summer Championship, the 2015 World Championship, the 2016 LCK Spring Championship, the IEM 2016 Championship, the 2016 MSI Championship, the 2016 World Championship, the 2017 LCK Spring Championship, and the 2017 MSI Championship. He was once recognized as one of the strongest ADCs in the world.
In November 2018, Bang chose to move to the 100T team, but failed to continue his peak form in the North American arena. He finally announced his retirement in December 2021 and then enlisted in the army to fulfill his military service obligations. Now, Bang has confirmed his return to T1 as a streamer, and he will continue to devote himself to e-sports in another capacity.
