Team Spirit wins DreamLeague Season 25 championship

In the DreamLeague Season 25 finals, the delayed fourth game finally took place, and Team Spirit defeated Tundra Esports 3-2 to win the championship.

Originally, the event was supposed to end on March 2, but because the players of Team Spirit encountered a suspected DDOS attack in the fourth game, the final was eventually postponed for one day.

In the restarted fourth game, Tundra Esports seized the opportunity and completely crushed Team Spirit, sweeping their opponents with a kill ratio of 29-8 in just 26 minutes. Tundra Esports tied Team Spirit 2-2, dragging the finals into a fifth game.

Although the audience expected the final round to be an exciting battle, Team Spirit performed well in the fifth round, presenting a one-sided situation. Team Spirit firmly controlled the rhythm of the game from the beginning, won with a kill ratio of 36-7, and won the championship trophy.

With this victory, Team Spirit won $290,000 of the total prize pool of $1 million, as well as 4,620 ESL Pro Tour points to qualify for the 2025 Riyadh Masters.

This championship is Team Spirit's first championship in 10 months. Their last championship was the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer Tournament at the end of June 2024.

Tundra Esports finished second, winning $130,000 and 3,920 ESL Pro Tour points. At the beginning of the 2025 season, Tundra Esports was one of the strongest Dota 2 teams in the world, winning the FISSURE PLAYGROUND and BLAST Slam II championships.
