Doug Christie promoted to interim Kings head coach, team's performance improved

Since Doug Christie was promoted to interim head coach of the Sacramento Kings, the team's performance has improved. Recently, the Sacramento Kings have won another victory.  

The Sacramento Kings' road win over the Golden State Warriors was probably the most impressive of their current four-game winning streak, which is the team's best of the season. Despite De'Aaron Fox being sidelined with a hip injury, they traveled to the Chase Center and beat the Golden State Warriors 129-99.  

Malik Monk had 26 points and 12 assists for the Sacramento Kings, one of seven players to score in double figures. The Kings have won four straight games, including victories over the Grizzlies, 76ers and Mavericks.  

Currently, the Sacramento Kings are just one game away from a play-in spot, currently sitting in 11th place. There have been no major roster changes since Doug Christie took over, but the team looks different and is playing with more energy, especially on the defensive end.  

In conclusion, it may be Doug Christie who has brought out the best in the team, making the Sacramento Kings look brand new and potentially a threat in the play-in games in the coming weeks.
