After last year's announcement, Riot Games finally announced the LEC Roadtrip 2025 plan. For European League of Legends fans, if you have been unable to go to Berlin to watch the game in person due to distance issues, then this spring may be a great opportunity for you.
As the top European event, the LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) will go out of Berlin during this year's spring season and hold competitions in Spain and France. This new plan aims to bring offline viewing experience to local fans and allow everyone to witness their favorite players up close. Since this is still a pilot project, it has not yet been determined whether it will continue to be implemented in the future.
The tour will be organized by Spain's Movistar KOI and France's Karmine Corp, which will organize the event and related fan activities.
First stop: Madrid, Spain (April 26-27)
The first race week will take place in Madrid at the end of April. Movistar KOI will welcome a large number of fans at the Madrid Arena and will announce more details of surrounding activities. Here are the exciting matches of the weekend:
G2 Esports vs. GIANTX
Movistar KOI vs. Fnatic
Second stop: Evry, France (May 10-11)
In two weeks, the LEC will move to France, to Évry, about 26 kilometers from Paris. French powerhouse Karmine Corp will face its opponents in Les Arènes, looking forward to igniting the passion of local fans. Here are the matchups for this weekend:
Team Vitality vs. SK Gaming
Karmine Corp vs. G2 Esports
LEC Roadtrip 2025 is undoubtedly a brand new attempt at the event model. If the response is enthusiastic, it may be expanded to more cities in the future, giving more European fans the opportunity to experience this e-sports feast in person!
