Napoli announced on Wednesday that 21-year-old Italian midfielder Luis Hasa has signed from Lecce on a four-and-a-half-year contract until June 30, 2029.
According to Italian media, Louis Hasa's transfer fee is 500,000 euros. Juventus, as his former club, will receive 30% of the transfer fee, which is about 150,000 euros.
Louis Hasa mainly plays as a front midfielder, but can also play as a central midfielder, left winger, left midfielder, etc. He joined Juventus' youth training at the age of 7 and played 40 times for the reserve team in the 2023/24 season, scoring 2 goals and providing 7 assists.
As for the national team, Hasa helped Italy win the U19 European Championship in 2023. He also won the best player of the U19 European Championship with his outstanding performance of 1 goal and 4 assists in 5 games.
In August 2024, Hasa moved to Lecce as a free agent. However, since joining, he has only played for 10 minutes in the Italian Cup and has not yet made his Serie A debut.
After signing Hasa from Lecce, Napoli will continue to push for other signings. They are preparing to make an offer to Chelsea for Cesare Casadei to fill the vacancy in the midfield after Michael Florensio joined Fiorentina. It is also reported that Udinese midfielder Martin Payero is also under consideration.
In terms of defensive reinforcement, Napoli plans to wait for Danilo to reach a termination agreement with Juventus and then sign him as a free transfer. Once Danilo comes, Rafa Marin will most likely join Como from Napoli.
