Bundesliga: Boniface scores as Leverkusen beat Bochum 3-1

The 2024/25 Bundesliga season ushered in the 27th round of the battle. Leverkusen, sitting at the BayArena, defeated Bochum 3-1 with goals from Alex Garcia, Boniface and Amin Adli.

Three minutes into the game, Leverkusen attacked with a corner kick, and Boniface headed the ball, but no teammate created a shooting opportunity in time. In the 9th minute, Frimpong received the return pass from Palacios in the penalty area and volleyed the ball, but because the angle was too straight, the ball was directly caught by Bochum goalkeeper Horn.

In the 11th minute, Bochum tried to counterattack, and Paslak fell to the ground while dealing with the defense, but the referee did not make any comments. In the 20th minute, Palacios passed the ball from the middle, and Alex Garcia at the top of the penalty area took a few steps and then shot from a distance, helping Leverkusen open the scoring with a 1-0 lead.

Inkapiye passed the ball to the front of the goal, and Boniface volleyed the ball and hit the goal, helping Leverkusen lead Bochum again 2-1.

In the 66th minute, Bochum attacked with a corner kick, Philipp Hofmann headed the ball, but the ball went over the goal post. In the 71st minute, Leverkusen replaced Patrik Schick with Amin Adli.

In the 87th minute, Palacios passed the ball directly into the penalty area, and Amin Adli faced the defense from the penalty area and pushed the ball into the goal, helping Leverkusen extend their lead to 3-1.

In the end, Leverkusen beat Bochum 3-1 at home.
