The Turkish CS2 team Eternal Fire (EF) officially announced on Sunday that it will return with an all-Turkish lineup starting today.
Due to the lack of local sponsorship, the EF team collectively transferred to the Russian e-sports club Aurora earlier this month. They are currently ranked 6th on the VRS list and have won 4 ESL Turkey Championships, the 2024 CCT Central Europe Malta Finals and the CCT Global Finals 2024 Season 1 Championship.
As for the original core members, sniper Ömer Karatash (ID: imoRR) and rifleman Bugla Alkin (ID: Calyx) have confirmed that they will continue to stay on the team. The two have fought 359 maps together for EF and appeared in the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major event.
The new members come from the PCIFIC team, which is currently ranked 196th on the VRS list, including sniper Baha Emil Shengur (ID: lugseN), breakthrough player Berat Özcan (ID: jresy) and commander Emrecan Chaleshkan (ID: EMSTAR). The lineup is led by former EF second team coach Kadir Sifri (ID: ElPrincipe), and the strategy is handled by Enes Yuvalar (ID: Crystalhand).
The specific lineup is as follows:
Sniper: Ömer Karatash (ID: imoRR)
Rifleman: Bugla Alkin (ID: Calyx)
Sniper: Baha Emil Shengur (ID: lugseN)
Breakthrough player: Berat Ozcan (ID: jresy)
Conductor: Emrecan Chaleshkan (ID: EMSTAR)
Head coach: Kader Sifri (ID: ElPrincipe)
Strategic Coach: Enes Juvalar (ID: Crystalhand)
