AG Global acquires Team Tidebound to join forces for TI 2025

All Gamers Global (AG Global for short), a well-known Chinese e-sports club, officially announced its entry into the "Dota 2" field and acquired Team Tidebound, which has performed strongly recently.

This move not only marks AG Global's official entry into the "Dota 2" professional arena, but also follows Team Tidebound's significant benefit of obtaining a direct invitation to the 2025 "Dota 2" International Invitational (TI2025).

Team Tidebound is led by several Chinese Dota veterans, including TI 2016 champion y` and Bach. The team has been in good form recently, winning fourth place in PGL Wallachia S4 and entering the top six in BLAST Slam III. Such performance is eye-catching and injects a bit of vitality into the Chinese Dota region.

AG Global announced on its official social media platform: "Team Tidebound will officially change its name and join AG Global. We will work together to make the spirit of 'CN DOTA NEVER DIE' resound throughout the world."

AG Global, which started out with "StarCraft", has achieved great success in projects such as "Valorant", "PUBG Mobile" and "Honor of Kings" in recent years. Now it has expanded its territory to "Dota 2", which is an important step in its layout of a diversified e-sports ecosystem.

The acquisition comes at a critical moment. TI 2025 will be held in September at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany, and the E-Sports World Cup in July is an important warm-up stage. With Team Tidebound's direct invitation qualification, AG Global will make its debut at the TI arena and compete for the championship shield, which symbolizes the highest honor.
