PUBG: Battlegrounds announce collaboration with super popular Korean girl group aespa..

KRAFTON announced on its official website on Monday that its popular e-sports game PUBG: Battlegrounds will be collaboration with the super popular Korean girl group aespa.

According to KRAFTON's official statement, as a result of this collaboration, aespa will not only become the latest spokesperson for PUBG: Battlegrounds, but the game will also add some skins for limited time.

At the same time, in response to this collaboration, aespa will also perform their promotional song "Dark Arts" which was released for this event and their latest single "Dirty Work" for the first time at the opening ceremony of the third day of the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025 Finals on July 27.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that aespa has collaborated with an e-sports game.

Last month, the girl group just announced their collaboration with Street Fighter.

This is also the second time that KRAFTON has collaborated with the most popular Korean pop music girl group since collaborating with another popular Korean girl group BLACKPINK in 2021.

aespa is a four-member Korean pop idol girl group launched in 2020 by SM Entertainment, one of the largest South Korean entertainment agency. The members include Karina (Leader - South Korean), Winter (South Korea), Giselle (Japanese-Korean) and the only Chinese member Ningning (Ning Yizhuo).

Among them, Leader Karina is praised by fans and the media as the most beautiful "AI goddess" in the Korean pop music scene in recent years after Chou Tzu-yu and Jang Won-young with her almost perfect beauty. She is also the member with the most personal endorsement projects in the group.

aespa is the first Korean group to consist by real people and virtual members (naevis), and to create a corresponding world view for each different stage of the group's development. At the same time, it is also an important central role group in the SM Culture metaverse system. The stories and concepts in the metaverse are unfolded by aespa.

Since their debut, many of aespa's songs "BLACK MAMBA", "NEXT LEVEL", "Savage", "Supernova", "Whiplash" and "Armageddon" are among the most popular songs among K-pop fans.

At the same time, they also won important awards such as Best MV, Best Female Group, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year at industry benchmark award ceremonies such as the 2024 MAMA Awards and Melon Music Awards, becoming the only girl group in Korean pop music to win the four major awards of the Melon Music Awards.
