In a post-match interview at the Riyadh Masters 2025, Team Spirit captain Miposhka announced that he would temporarily suspend the competition and take a break after the end of this year's Dota 2 International Invitational (The International 2025).

As a two-time TI world champion, Miposhka's decision undoubtedly sent a shock wave to the Dota 2 professional circle. Miposhka said: "I originally wanted to take a break after the last TI, but at that time other players also planned to take a vacation. If I left, there might be no one left in the team to play in the game."

However, with long-term high-intensity training and competitions, he admitted that he was gradually feeling tired both physically and mentally: "Now I am indeed a little tired. I think this time, the probability that I will take a break is 99%."

Miposhka did not give a clear timeline for how long he will take off, but it is expected to be several months. It has not yet been announced who will take over as the captain or main player of Team Spirit during his absence.
