T1, Gen.G, G2 and AL advance to the semi-finals of the Esports World Cup

The quarterfinals of the 2025 Esports World Cup League of Legends event came to a successful conclusion, with four top teams successfully breaking through: Gen.G, T1, G2 Esports and Anyone's Legend (AL).

G2 Esports is the only team among the top four to qualify from the group stage. They easily defeated FURIA Esports and FlyQuest in the group stage and qualified first. Then in the quarterfinals, G2 eliminated the Chinese team Bilibili Gaming 2-1 after three rounds of fierce battle, showing strong resilience.

South Korean powerhouse Gen.G swept the North American team FlyQuest 2-0 in the quarterfinals, showing their strength to win the MSI for the second consecutive time and successfully advanced. Another South Korean team T1 won the first game against the Western European team Movistar KOI, then tied the game, and finally won 2-1 with a strong teamfight.

Anyone's Legend from China emerged as the winner after a three-game battle with Hanwha Life Esports in the quarterfinals. They showed explosive power in the key team battles and successfully advanced to the semi-finals with a score of 2-1.

FlyQuest, Bilibili Gaming , Hanwha Life Esports and Movistar KOI, who lost in the quarterfinals, tied for fifth place and received a prize of $110,000 per team.
