BLAST Bounty Season 2 kicks off in August with 32 teams vying for offline spots

The highly anticipated "BLAST Bounty Season 2" will officially kick off on August 5, 2025. This event is the first large-scale "Counter-Strike 2" (CS2) event hosted by BLAST after the Austin Major.

The tournament brought together 32 top teams from around the world, vying for eight spots in the offline finals in Malta. The competition consisted of two stages: online and offline. The online stage took place on the European server and featured a unique bounty system.

Teams seeded 17 to 32 will have priority in selecting opponents, while higher-seeded teams will become bounty targets. Upon successfully defeating a bounty-winning team, the winner will receive half of their bounty as a prize, with the remainder rolling over to the next match and accumulating into the winner's bounty pool.

This innovative format not only adds strategic competition but also creates a more engaging and engaging tournament. The top eight players from the final online stage will advance to the offline finals in Malta, August 14-17.
