Fenerbahçe announced on its official website on Wednesday that the club has reached agreements with Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa on the transfer of Slovakia international defender Milan Škriniar and Brazil international defender Diego Carlos respectively.
According to Fenerbahçe's official statement, the two players have agreed to the transfer and have flown to Istanbul to prepare for the medical tests and signing procedures arranged by the club. If nothing unexpected happens, the two transfers will be officially finalized next week.
In addition, according to the news brought by American media outlet CBS Sports' resident renowned transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, the Turkish Süper Lig giants have agreed to pay €10 million and €20 million in transfer fees to the Villans to sign Carlos, and Škriniar will join Fenerbahçe on-loan until the end of the season. The loan agreement contains a non-mandatory buyout clause.
