FlyQuest officially announced the departure of coach erkaSt, with a successor yet to be determined.

Australian CS2 professional team FlyQuest released a statement on Wednesday confirming the dismissal of Erdeni Tsoget Gantula (ID: erkaSt) from his coaching position. ErkaSt's successor is currently unknown.

In a statement, FlyQuest wrote: "Today, we have decided to move erkaSt to the bench as the team moves in a different direction."

“We sincerely thank him for his hard work, passion and dedication to the team and wish him all the best in the future.”

erkaSt said: "I don't want to write too long, but I have been moved to the bench by FlyQuest. Frankly speaking, our understanding of Counter-Strike is not the same, and there are also some cultural differences. I wish you all the best."

The 30-year-old erkaSt is an influential e-sports player in Mongolia. He officially transitioned to a coach in 2023. He has coached Grayhound and Jeeves, and joined FlyQuest in March 2024.

During his time as FlyQuest coach, erkaSt led the team across 195 maps and 4,100 rounds, achieving a 107-88 record with a KD of 1.02. It was widely believed that he failed to fully utilize the potential of the FlyQuest roster.

With the departure of erkaSt, FlyQuest's current roster is as follows:

Commander/Rifleman: Joshua Porter (ID: INS)

Rifleman: Declan Portelli (ID: Vexite)

Rifleman: Corey Brown (ID: nettik)

Sniper: Julian Harjou (ID: regali)

Rifleman: Justin Savage (ID: jks)
