Cxzi revealed that he was

In an exclusive interview with Dust 2 on Sunday, Cxzi, the leader of the rising American Counter Strike 2 team Marsborne, revealed for the first time his feelings after being forced out of Complexity.

Cxzi stated that he was completely unaware that his former teammates would become part of Passion UA beforehand. Upon learning the news, he felt angry about being kept in the dark. However, as time passed, and given his poor performances over the past two months, he's gradually come to terms with the situation.

Cxzi said: "How did I find out I was leaving Complexity? Through HLTV."

"Like anyone would, I was incredibly upset. We had been practicing together normally the day before, so I had no idea what was happening."

"Honestly, the first week after I found out was awful. However, as time went on, I gradually got over it and understood the reasons."

"From what I was told, it wasn't a unilateral decision, but I also knew that my performances hadn't been ideal in the previous two months, so it all made sense."

"I did some self-reflection afterwards, and of course, I did understand the situation."

"As I mentioned earlier, I was initially furious, but looking back, I learned a lot from them during that time and gained valuable experience. So, when I learned they made it through the last Major (StarLadder Star Series Fall), I was also happy for them."

"I know they had some difficulties early on because of the adjustments they made within the team, so I'm glad they bounced back strongly from that minor setback."

When asked if joining the second-tier team Marsborne felt like a step back, Cxzi denied and said: "I think the most important thing is, you can list all the names of all the top players on the North American teams, but I haven't seen anyone break through in the European region yet. I think I need to prove I can reach that level."

"I played well in Complexity; I had a solid five months. I think I have a chance in North America, but I'm happy with where I am now."

Asking why he wanted to take on the charge role and the challenges he faced as a leader for the first time, Cxzi said, "I'd been thinking about it for a while. Then, I thought, once I'm more experienced, this is what I want to do. Then fl0m messaged me out of the blue and said I should do it. I talked to a few teams about being a In-Game Leader, and ultimately, I chose to join Marsborne."

"Of course, I was a little worried about giving up too many games to be a In-Game Leader, but after playing against some strong teams today, I don't think it's affected me at all. If we were playing at the top level, it might have, but right now, it hasn't."

"As a In-Game Leader, I think JT is the best. Even before playing for Complexity, I knew he was a good In-Game Leader, but he actually has many strengths. His playstyle is very informal, allowing him to make good decisions. I've learned a lot about how to create opportunities for myself."

Cxzi just reached the round of 16s with Marsborne at the Frag Blocktober, but unfortunately lost to the Portuguese powerhouse SAW.

Tomorrow, they will face NuTorious in the ESL Challenger League North America Cup 3 knockout stage. It will be interesting to see whether Cxzi can demonstrate his skills and lead Marsborne through the competition.
