JD Gaming has restructured its coaching team, welcoming Tabe and Xiaobai.

JD Gaming took a key step during this offseason by officially announcing Tabe as their new head coach and Xiaobai as their assistant coach.

These two coaches previously co-coached Anyone's Legends, leading the team through a stunning transformation and securing the organization's first-ever LPL championship. With the addition of Coach Tabe's team, JD Gaming's rebuilding strategy for the 2025 season is becoming increasingly clear.

In its announcement, JD Gaming stated that the new coaching team will lead the reshaping of the roster and tactical system. After nearly achieving a Golden Slam in 2023, JD Gaming has missed the World Championship for two consecutive seasons, and last year they were further disappointed by losing to Invictus Gaming in the LPL regional qualifiers.

The acquisition of Tabe, who previously led RNG, BLG, and AL to impressive results, undoubtedly symbolizes the club's determination to return to its peak. Over the past year, Tabe and Xiaobai's almost magical coaching performance has transformed AL into one of the most dominant teams in the LPL.

AL not only dominated the Summer Split, but Tabe and Xiaobai also led the team into the quarterfinals of the World Championship, putting on a highly entertaining five-game series against T1. Their synergy dates back to 2022 when they won the LPL Spring Split and MSI championships together with RNG. This renewed partnership is highly anticipated.

Meanwhile, JD Gaming has confirmed the contract extension with top laner Xiaoxu. With XUN, Zhuo, Scout, and Peyz all leaving the team, Xiaoxu will be the only player remaining on the roster for the 2025 season.

This top laner, who joined in the second season as a substitute for Ale, was one of the few bright spots for the team during a difficult season, and his efforts were recognized by the club. With the coaching staff reshuffled, JD Gaming's subsequent reinforcements and new roster construction will become the focus of attention.
